The wearing of jewellery is not permitted. Ear studs may be worn but should be removed by the child for PE and swimming lessons. It is the child's responsibility to keep their ear studs in a safe place when removed as school cannot be responsible for any loss or damage.  It is recommended that ear piercing takes place at the beginning of the summer break to allow healing to take place before returning to school. Long hair should be tied back at all times. Watches/fitness straps may be worn by pupils in KS2 but is discouraged, as school cannot be responsible for any loss or breakage.  Make up and nail narnish is not permitted.  Pupils wearing make up or nail varnish to school will be asked to remove it.

All children from year 1 onwards should have a protective apron for art. An old shirt worn back to front with cuffs removed and elastic inserted is ideal. (Reception class children are provided with a protective apron).
