We are pleased to announce that from the 28th September 2020 our wraparound care service will be provided by Jack Oxenham and his LoveTheBall Team.  See below a message from the Team to inform you of how the new provision will work and how to contact them to make a booking.

Dear Parents,

First of all, from everyone at LoveTheBall (LTB), we wish you and your families well during these unprecedented times.

We are delighted to be working alongside Mr Dell and all of the St Lawrence team to provide you with Breakfast Club and After-School Club from Monday 28th September 2020. This letter will give you the information and the knowledge you need to make the transition as seamless as possible. I will personally be overseeing the childcare provision with help from Emily Godwin. I look forward to seeing you all throughout the year at any of our provisions. If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to contact me via the details below. We are here to support you and your family, so if there is anyway myself and my team can help please let us know.

We have been working with Miss Hart (who we wish the very best!) during this week to ensure the hand over process is as smooth as possible. LTB are keeping the structure similar to before, although as you will see below, we have made a few changes to each provision. Below, is all the information you need regarding both provisions.

LTB Breakfast Club Time:

Price: £5.00

Breakfast club, mostly will stay the same, ensuring your child is ready for the school day. We will provide breakfast of toast or cereal, with a variety of spreads as well as fresh apple and orange juices to accompany. We will give the children the option of arts and crafts or going outside with one of our NGB qualified coaches to take part in one of our activities. These will include football, netball, basketball, tag games, dodgeball and lots more.

LTB After School Club

Half Session- 3:15pm-4:30pm

Full Session – 3:15pm – 5:45pm

Half Session Price - £7.50

Full Session Price - £15.00

Our LTB afterschool club will be run by our coaches with a variety of activities to enjoy. We will also be helping the children with their homework and reading practice to ensure you get as much family time as possible.

LTB will provide children with a healthy snack during both sessions with those children on a full session receiving a bigger snack during the afternoon.

Here is the plan of what after-school club will look like:

3:00pm – 3:15pm - Arrive at the Hazel Hut and register.

3:20pm – 4:00pm – Activity 1.

4:05pm – 4:25pm – Healthy snack break.

4:30pm – 5:00pm - Half session finish. Activity 2 for Full session.

5:05pm – 5:30pm – Big Snack.

5:35pm – 5:45pm – Free time until close.

You will notice:

- We have removed the adhoc pricing. This is due to the fact that we need to ensure we meet current COVID regulations and plan accordingly. - We have introduced organised activities throughout the provision.

COVID Protocol

Your child’s safety is paramount to us. We are following the St Lawrence Protocol regarding COVID. LTB will be cleaning all equipment thoroughly before and after use. The children will be supervised with washing their hands when they enter the provision and before and after eating. There will also be sanitising stations around so children can use these in addition as they wish.

Key stage 1 & 2 children will be in extended bubbles, in line with the DfE guidance on reducing daily contacts while accessing the provision. Children will not be able to mix bubbles at any point. LTB will ensure all children are in the safest environment possible.

FAQ’s “Will my child have a choice of activities?”

Absolutely, all staff have gained qualifications in a variety of sports, also all staff have a wealth of experience with indoor activities such as parachute games and arts & crafts. We want you to feel comfortable that your child is receiving the best childcare experience.

“What food will be on offer?”

At breakfast club LTB will be supplying a selection of cereals and toast with a choice of spread. There will be a selection of juice included (Orange and apple). For afterschool club LTB will be supplying a healthy snack which will include fruit or a box of raisins. For their bigger snack, this will change every other week as we want to give you and your child a variety of choices however it will all be cold food for example: Sandwiches, build your own pitta or cold pasta/rice.

“Do you accept Childcare vouchers?”

At this current time No. However, LTB are in the process of gaining OFSTED Registration, so please hold on to them, as soon as we are registered, we will be accepting your childcare vouchers. If this causes any problems please let us know.

“Who do I contact if I am going to be late?”

First of all, please don’t worry or rush. We completely understand these incidents happen. Please contact Emily Godwin (Number below) via call and text letting her know you will be late so we can plan. However, if you do not let us know, alongside St Lawrence’s school policy, if you are more than 10 minutes late without letting LTB know, you will incur a late fee.

“How do I book a place for my child?”

You can book a place for your child via our website or our App. Follow the instructions and please note it is important that you let us know if your child has any food or other allergies.

If you have any general questions about the provision please feel free to get in contact and we look forward to seeing you soon
